Yang Berbahagia Tan Sri Dato’ Seri Michelle Yeoh Choo-Kheng, PSM is a Chinese-Malaysian actress who played Philippa Georgiou, captain of the USS Shenzhou, as well as the character’s mirror universe counterpart in Star Trek: Discovery. Her involvement in the show was revealed by consulting producer Nicholas Meyer in an interview on 22 November 2016. [2] In January of 2019, it was revealed that she would be starring in a Discovery spinoff series.
