Karen Austin is an actress who appeared as Doctor Kalandra in the Star Trek: Deep Space Nine fifth season episode “Nor the Battle to the Strong” and Miral in the Star Trek: Voyager sixth season episode “Barge of the Dead”.

She was among the contenders for the role of Kathryn Janeway, but was beaten out by first Geneviève Bujold, then Kate Mulgrew.
