Jennifer Hetrick played the recurring role of Vash in the Star Trek: The Next Generation third and fourth season episodes “Captain’s Holiday” and “Qpid”. She reprised her role for the Star Trek: Deep Space Nine first season episode “Q-Less”.

During the filming of “Qpid”, Stewart and Hetrick were engaged, though they never actually made it down the aisle.
