Arista Arhin is the actress who played the young Michael Burnham in the first two Star Trek: Discovery episodes, “The Vulcan Hello” and “Battle at the Binary Stars”, and in the second season episodes “Brother”, “Light and Shadows”, “If Memory Serves”, “Project Daedalus”, and “Perpetual Infinity”.

Her performance in the first season of Discovery landed her two industry award nominations, neither of which she won though.
